The Champagne
and its history
It was in the
beginning a communion wine and the baptism of king Clovis, first
king de France, was the first event which one celebrated with
Champagne.
A few centuries
later, the marriage of Jeanne de Navarre with Philippe le Bel
one definitively associated the destiny of the Champagne County
that of the crown of France.
It is in Reims
that the kings of France will be crowned. The ceremonies,
according to accounts', were accompanied very by feasts where
the Champagne wines, "the nectar of the kings" ran with floods.
The Champagne is
a wine of exception today; one calls upon him as soon as it is a
question of distinguishing the scarcity or the size from an
event. It is always, in the world, required by those which want
to give the one moment historical importance.
There is no
Champagne without the magic presence of its bubbles which during
several minutes in a cut are formed and reformed, dances,
circles and rises towards surface like going up towards the sky,
the symbol of all the grace and the spirituality of this rare
wine.
